Once a month I roam the pubs of London and invite a stranger to a free Tarot reading. I write about it (with names changed) at the Sun Sign School here. You can also find various Tarot-related talks from me on the site.
My Story
Finding the tarot was a happy accident. Sixteen or seventeen years ago, full of journalistic cynicism, I enrolled on a single day’s introductory course and came away from it reeling. For the next few years I could talk and think of little else. I studied with tarot teachers all around London – most happily and for longest, at the famous College of Psychic Studies in South Kensington. I practised reading on anyone who would allow me. I offered free readings from a café at the British Library and then, by handing out fliers at tube stations, I began to offer Tarot readings more widely. Until the lockdown, most of my readings took place in an office-shed in my London garden, although in the early years I was also reading from a booth at the back of Wild Ones on the King’s Road. Nowadays, about half of my readings are done remotely. A lot of clients prefer it. Also it allows me to do readings for people from all over the world.
All readings are confidential, but for a life-long writer the idea of using fictional Tarot readings as a tool for a detective series was irresistible. Dolly Greene and the Tarot Detective Series was born. Find out more here.

A reading lasts approximately 45 minutes. All bookings are valid for six months from purchase. Readings can be done by Skype/FaceTime or in person.
