YOGA

The more you do, the better you feel. And you’ll feel it quickly. Practise yoga three times a week for three weeks, and everything will improve: mood, mobility, mindset. And other things, too, not beginning with M.

Fitness, for example.

Above all: comfort in your own skin.

The first yoga class I ever went to, 25 years ago, made me feel so inept and ungainly I spent most of it  trying not to cry. (I was pregnant, to be fair, so more emotional than usual.)

Point being, don’t be put off.  Smug and bendy neighbours are irrelevant. And the more yoga you practise, the more blindingly obvious this becomes.  In the meantime, a journey of a thousand miles…
